Free, Light, and Cool: Check Out the Summer Vibes Lager Fest This Weekend

This Saturday, the Tank Brewing near Doral will host an indoor beer festival that’s free to enter.

How can a Miami brewery celebrate the city’s 125th birthday in late July? Throw an air-conditioned beer festival focused solely on light, easy-drinking lagers.

That’s what the owners of The Tank Brewing Company, located at 5100 NW 72nd Ave A-1, Miami, FL 33166, decided to do.

This Saturday, July 31, from 12 to 6 p.m., The Tank will host more than 17 local breweries pouring from more than 30 handles in its 10,000 square foot tasting room.

Admission is free and 16-ounce pours will cost $5 or five for $20. Tickets for five-ounce taster cups will be $2 or five for $8.

“All the recipes we come up with always have the city of Miami and its people in mind. This event is a prime example of that and we can’t wait to share the stage with our fellow local breweries who represent our home just as much as we do,” Stefano Medina, marketing manager for the Tank Brewing Company, told Broward Beer. “Miami’s always looking for a reason to party with friends and family. Celebrating the one birthday you share with everyone in this city sounds like the perfect excuse to me.”
