Irie Jungle beer festival will showcase more than 70 breweries, local food vendors, and reggae artist Johnny Dread.

Ignacio Montenegro is expecting his brewery’s largest annual beer festival to be the largest it’s ever been.

Last year’s Irie Jungle brought out more than 50 breweries to Tripping Animals Brewing in Doral. This year, the list is inching close to 80. Judging by ticket sales, brewers and volunteers, Montenegro estimates around 1,000 people will be at the 15,000 square foot brewery this Saturday.

“I’m very excited – we’re growing in terms of what we’ve done in previous years,” Montenegro told Broward Beer. “This year, we’re aiming for more breweries and more people.”

This year’s Irie Jungle falls on the third day of the inaugural Miami Beer Week. VIP tickets are sold out but $75 general admission tickets are still available for purchase here.
