Fat Tap Beer Bar Wants to Give You $1,300 Worth of Free Beer

The gastropub and bottle shop is holding a giveaway to celebrate its two-year anniversary.

Like free beer? Rob Robayna, owner of Fat Tap Beer Bar in Oakland Park thought you would. How about free beer for a whole year?

The gregarious, bearded, bar owner is holding a giveaway for a weekly $25 tab for the next 52 weeks. The grand prize is good for a one-time tab every week for draft beer and food for on-site consumption.

All participants will automatically be entered to win special anniversary edition shirts and 16 oz. Yeti can insulators with the Fat Tap logo.

“In our industry, I don’t care what anniversary it is – it’s a big one,” Robayna told Broward Beer. “We can’t do any big events. So we’re turning all that effort into a big giveaway.”

Fat Tap will collect entries through Sept. 20.
