Barrel of Monks Brewery Throw Down: BOM Vs. Tripping Animals Brewing

On Sunday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m., Barrel of Monks in Boca will host Tripping Animals Brewing for a beer and food pairing challenge. Cheffrey Eats, Barrel of Monks' regular food truck Cheffrey Eats will cook four dishes. Both breweries need to pair a beer with each dish on the fly. Neither brewery will know the dishes in advance. Guests vote on which brewery did the best job pairing their beer with the meal. Tickets are $75 and have quickly sold out on previous brewery throw-down events.

SFL Hops Oktoberfest Pub Crawl in Boca

On Saturday, Oct. 16, starting at 1 p.m., SFL Hops meetup group will stop in at Prosperity Brewers, Barrel of Monks Brewing, Crazy Uncle Mike's, the Duck Tavern, and Whistle Stop Public House. For $6, you'll get BOGO beers at each stop.

The Flyers to Perform at Crazy Uncle Mike’s

On Friday, August 6, from 8 to 11:30 p.m. local rock band – with influences from Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Eric Clapton, and The Band – will perform at Crazy Uncle Mike's in Boca Raton. There is a $25 food and beverage minimum to see them perform.

On Thursday night, August 5 at 8 p.m., Prosperity Brewers in Boca Raton will host a live DJ playing all your favorite emo and pop-punk. Ladies drink two for one beer and wine all night.
