For $20, reserve a four-pack of “spooky trick or treat” newly released ciders.

Every year, Broski Ciderworks brings out 400 to 500 people to its cider taproom. But that annual party is just another victim of the COVID-19 pandemic.

So David Verdugo, brewer and founder of Broski Ciderworks, decided to sell Halloween-themed cans to take home.

“There’s still a lot of people – rightly so – worried about this situation,” Verdugo told BrowardBeer. “It’s a way for us to take the party home.”

Each is Halloween-inspired in flavor and name. One is a mystery can for guests to guess what flavor the cider is for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate.

Cans are available to pre-order online for pick up in the taproom on Halloween between 1 and 6 p.m. and limited to four 4-packs per person…

The name was inspired by the song “Zombies” by the Cranberries.

3. Witch, Please

Inspired by the witch from the Wizard of Oz. It’s a green color. The brewers were able to get the color by infusing an orange cider with a sweet tea flower that turns blue when infused in liquid.

  • Type: Lemon, citrus, orange
  • Flavors: Infused with sweet tea flower
  • ABV: 7% ABV

4. Hallows Eve

Mystery cider. Broski is holding a contest for guests to guess what the cider is. There’s a QR code for guests to scan in with their best guess of what the cider is for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate.
